In fact private property rights do not hold for a publicly promoted event open to the pubic. Her arrest on the charge of trespassing was illegal.

the whole private property thing is a diversion. The real question is: Why was what she was doing so damaging to Republicans?. What she was doing was video recording their event which she would then load unedited to here youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/nydiatisdale

Let's talk about the cop/guard/whatever pushing her down and holding her over a table and pressing his body against her. I think SHE was assaulted. And that was after she was assaulted in the ears by having to listen to that pompous buffoon Ralph Hudgens.

The whole "public/private" thing is a bit silly, at least to the levels that they have tried to take it. Unless I'm mistaken, courts have already ruled that a public event, even if held on private property (most "public" events are, after all, held on private property of some sort) doesn't allow the owner of said property to arbitrarily establish rules as to who/who can't be there. A declaration that a meeting is public carries with it a diminished capacity for the owner of the private property the event is held on for the duration of the event. It's also pretty standard op to have an on-duty law officer present at large political rallies. That happens almost everyone, so they're just doing a whole lot of CYA right now. BTW, there's no reason for any Democrat to feel afraid, even in North GA. I'm sorry, but when I hear that, it brings to mind all the Christians who feel that they are being "persecuted" because people disagree with them. I've made myself Democrat Number One in a very visible way in our county, and yeah, I'm sure it's kept me from getting invited to some parties I never would have wanted to go to anyway, but anything more? No. Stop allowing the fear of what's possible (which is almost everything) keep you from doing what you think is right.

Let's hope they question the Governor and State Attorney General both were there

The misdemeanor trespass charge is secondary. It was just added to the felony charge. since the cop insisted on the felony then the misdemeanor had to be included to make it look right. IF THE COP HAD NOT INSISTED ON THE FELONY THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO CRIMINAL CHARGES AT ALL.

The stories are already changing. Wooten stated to local media that he was there in an official capacity, not as a paid off duty security guard.
