Being a Chair is not a paid position, they have lives outside of what goes on involving the party, and maybe just haven't had time to sit down and gather up enough people to draft a response. Press releases aren't magic bullets, I would focus on keeping the story alive via social media like Facebook or Twitter, which is seen by far more people than a press release ever will be. W Lorraine Watkins 3:35pm Aug 29 I have also communicated with Michael Smith and have been pleading with our Dawson Committee chair. I cannot speak for her or the Committee but it appears there will be no response coming from the Dawson County Democratic Party. I attribute that sad situation as to the result of just how much fear we Democrats live in in this county. Support from DPG and other areas might prove encouraging. I have sent a personal letter representing me only to the Dawson News and Advertiser but doubt it will see the light of day. No point in even trying the Morris paper.
