W Lorraine Watkins 3:35pm Aug 29 I have also communicated with Michael Smith and have been pleading with our Dawson Committee chair. I cannot speak for her or the Committee but it appears there will be no response coming from the Dawson County Democratic Party. I attribute that sad situation as to the result of just how much fear we Democrats live in in this county. Support from DPG and other areas might prove encouraging. I have sent a personal letter representing me only to the Dawson News and Advertiser but doubt it will see the light of day. No point in even trying the Morris paper.
