What is so disturbing to me is the virulence of the Burt and Wooten comments. It really seems to have verged on becoming completely out of control. And of course many of these people are my neighbors, literally. The Attorney General Olens as I understand sat down with John Burt and advised him to not remove Ms. Tisdale from the event that it would turn out bad from him. They did it anyway. It is an interesting twist that Tisdale and the State filed suit against the Mayor of Cumming for a similar removal of her from recording Cumming city council. Olens acted as plaintiff in that case and won last week. I think Olens is distancing himself from Deal because of the hot water he's in right now because Deal's ethics case and his holding out on key evidence pointing to Deal's coercion of LaBerge. Either way the local Democrats can gain if the Committee will only act and say something. The question is who was paying him for that time? His regular job? If so how is it he was there at the GOP request and following their orders? If hired by the GOP then they must be held accountable for the actions of their employee. I also think the fact of Deal, Perdue, Collins and the lesser Republican candidates and leaders sat silent while this woman was being assaulted is a strong political point to demonstrate.
