I agree. Lets reinstitute taxes of 70-90% to pay down the debt by those who profitted the mots in the past 10-15 years.

seniors wealth is being transferred to the rich. seniors get 0% interest on their investments which banks turn around and loan out to speculators who play the stock and commodities market causing a bubble in those asset classes. the fed drives up the stock market by pourchasing the bad assets in the banks at 0 interest and the banks turn around and loan the money out to the rich who use it to play the markets. capitalism cannot work with 0% interest rates. there is no true price discovery with 0% interest rates. it just creates bubbles which then blow up.

after retirement Medicare Part B costs $104 a month taken off the top of social security. Medicare typically pays 80%. You pay the other 20% or purchase a Medicare Supplement which costs $150 a month. Medicare pays nothing for teeth, eyes, ears or feet maintenance. During your entire working career from 1965 to today, Medicare takes money out of your paycheck every week. 401k money in cds has paid near 0% interest since 2008. we are going broke.

Medicare Part D was never paid for in prior years and contributed to the deficit. When medications may average $500/mo., a premium of $27 doesn't seem like much to pay.

My D was up 30% in premiums and with increased copays etc. Haven't checked this year yet. It will likely be the same as UHC
