So campaign expense accounts are really permanent political job expense accounts. Elected public officials can use the money for any legal political purpose. They can be used to pay the costs of being an elected public official. They can be used for just about anything. I did not know this until 2 days ago. He had an opponent in the Republican primary who he defeated 5,887 to 3,203 on June 20, 2014. He did not have an opponent in the General Election.
