Yep, remember who and mostly what Party stopped us from going full single payer like every other industrialized country in the world. We slowed down to allow the insurance industry to adjust, but we didn't slow down to design new ways to skin the system and fleece consumers.

I don't blame President Obama, but I do take issue with the insurance companies, as well as the Rs on Congress that have tried to make President Obama fail.

Healthcare access and affordability is still in control of the insurance companies, we're not done yet, but we must not let others destroy and start over. People die, get sick and go broke in the meantime.

Now that the election cycle has passed we must be honest about its flaws and when possible work to remedy them. I am not sure I see a path to that but it is what I hope.

There are serious problems with the ACA and I hope that they can be "fixed." I'm happy for those that have been helped by the ACA and frustrated that have been harmed by it. My own son and his family had a good plan, but when their insurance company canceled the plan that he had and he was forced to go into the marketplace, he has lived through a nightmare.
