This amendment allows money to go to one place to be used for one purpose! Why haven't you done more research?

You're incorrect on Amendment B. We already have the Brain And Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission where DUI fines provide funding for people with brain and spinal injuries. These funds help keep them in their homes and out of nursing homes. The Commissions funding has decreased due to people pleading down to Reckless Driving. All Amendment B does is allow Commission to collect funds from this. This is not a bad Amendment. Research it on the Brain Injury Association of Georgia website. I'm suddenly not trusting this Facebook page as a good source of information.

I would never vote to take away responsibility from elected officials even though in Georgia they are far from responsible. Just using common sense if this legislature wants us to vote on something I am voting no!

Thanks for your perspective on these! The wording makes it difficult to see "the big picture" IMO. Now if only I knew what to do about the T-Bond in Forsyth Co.

Vote NO on all three Ballot Propositions.

There are two constitutional amendments and one recommendation for a constitutional amendment on the ballot.

All should be rejected as "special interest" legislation.

The Constitution should never be amended to restrict the Legislative power to tax (or spend). That is their job. They should not off-load their job to the People. The Legislature should do its job. This is also a "first step" toward doing away with the state income tax altogether and loading even more taxes onto the sales tax which is very regressive and hurts low income people the most. Just vote NO.

The Constitution should not be amended to "carve out" a special benefit for a those who provided healthcare for folks with brain concussions from auto accidents. That is too limited a benefit. What about other folks who get serioiuslly injured in car accidents but do not suffer a brain concussion? (It would appear that this constitutional amendment would help to fund the Chelsey Park medical facility now under construction in Dahlonega.) Just vote NO.

The Constitution should not be amended to "carve out" a special benefit for private investors who help construct college dormatories. They do not need any help to justify their investments. This proposed constitutional amendment would exempt privately constructed and managed college dormatories built on public land from property taxes. Just vote NO.
