We have been confirmed for a room during lunch to have a GREENING GEORGIA meeting. On our tentative GG agenda will be the status of getting a page on the DPG website, as well as getting our OWN website. Before the meeting we need to address any suggestions to the DPG platform (the Natural Resources section). http://www.georgiademocrat.org/our-party/charter-and-bylaws/2008-democratic-party-platform-renewing-americas-promise/ Here are the rules for submitting changes: All proposed additions, deletions, changes, etc. to the Platform for consideration by the Committee on Platform shall be submitted in writing to the Platform committee at least three (3) days prior to the State Convention (August 6th at noon). Any change, addition or deletion to the Party Platform must include supporting documentation showing necessity-- such as polling or other data-driven research indicating a majority of Democrats in Georgia are in favor of such a change. Submissions shall be sent to Platform@GeorgiaDemocrat.org and to Rebecca DeHart at Rebecca@GeorgiaDemocrat.org.
