Sometimes you can tackle fiscal promlems from the top down, as FDR did with Social Security. I don't believe that we should turn our backs on the progressive agenda..we still lag far behind the rest of the world. I listened to it live and found it quite stimulating. Highlights for me. Key issue is middle class is losing out in current economy. GDP and stock market up and Middle Class Income down. Technology and globalization are causing more economic benefits to go to capital than to labor. The way to win is to focus on lifting up the middle class with government programs and law changes. It was a mistake in 2008 to push for heathcare reform before completely fixing the economy.
